Yes! I braved the cold both days this weekend. Wasn’t sure how super motivated I would be, but a number of people warned me the weather could be really bad next week so I thought it best to cram in an extra stroll along the icy path.
I took the bike to get to and from my favoured starting point. It’s generally a nice way to “warm up” before the run, but holy smokes it’s freeeezing when you go downhill! Today’s graph looks like I was just jumping up and down. The speed was much faster than yesterday but I did about half the distance and didn’t have to climb the nasty hill on the way back. 10k in 56 minutes I think is pretty good! Especially with the slippy slidy factor still in play.

Just had an avocado, cucumber, pear smoothie I randomly ordered with my food delivery and I almost feel like I could go back out and run some more!! Lol the power of green stuff.
