Bike and HIIT (3)

Went for a bike ride but honestly it was much more tourism than sport! Followed a bunch of little twisty turny roads and rode through villages I had never seen before.

For SRG I #spottedtherustymachine

I also #spottedthesheep ha!

Tried for a cool shot with this one:

Kind of eerie looking don’t ya think??

Bike picture because I tried a couple selfies but for some reason they got deleted. Can’t imagine why??

Oh yeah, so the bike ride was nice, I pedalled a little but not too much. Did 30k on mostly flat roads and got home feeling like I really needed to HIIT, so I got that out of the way. Can defo say I improved this time, especially in the push-up category and maybe in that weird push-up twisty thing too!! Very technical lingo I have.

That’s all my excitement for today! Should get some nice runs in this week as the weather is super nice. Plenty of reading to do as well. 🙂

Happy day to you all!!!

  1. Damn it man, I didn’t want to sound like a noob and ask what HIIT was, so I went through your older posts to figure it out.

    Your pictures look awesome!

I’m new to biking and I’m learning, looks like your Bianchi is a road bike, but it also seems like you take it off road. Any issues with that?

    1. Thanks! Yeah a friend introduced me to HIIT a few years back, it’s a great work out as you can adjust the times yourself and so any number of exercises.
For the bike you are right, it is a cyclo-cross, kind of a cross between road and trail. It’s light and faster than a dirt bike but in a tight race head to head with a road bike I fall behind due to the greater weight and the knobby tires. It’s a little difficult if you want to race, but overall I like because I can go pretty much worry free from road to moderate trail. If I had the cash I would get a third bike for racing! Lol one day!!

  2. You created a new tag!! I might can find one or two of those in my area!! 😀

Loving the eerie picture… kind of something right out of The Three Musketeers or Man of La Mancha. Very cool!

I’ve not tried #11 still… and I’m really none too impressed with #12 either! Guess I’ve discovered I need to target the upper body. 😮

    Have a great day!! 😀
