Still slow at work, so the policy is slow work week equals many opportunities for running! Got to keep as positive a spin on it as possible.
As yesterday’s run was a stEEp climb I thought I should have a relatively flat one today!!
I mean really, 300 meters is just a walk in the park at this point. 15k for 1h33
Considering my little hill to get to and from home I think that’s a darn good pace. Does it drive anyone crazy that I stop the watch at 14.99 and didn’t just go the extra few steps to get a nice round 15k!? Lol probably lots of people!!
Well here’s a kitty picture to make up for it. πππ
Had a big seeing bowl of quinoa tomato spaghetti for lunch, I was going to take a picture of it but you know runger took over and I just had to EAT!
Oh and that reminds me SRG I got some almond butter from a friend! She actually dropped it off for me after she read my blog post.
It’s organic and simply delicious!
As we are talking about food and simplicity why not go with this classic from William Carlos Williams.
–also planning another mountain run for manana.
This Is Just To Say
William Carlos Williams, 1883 – 1963
I have eaten the plums that were in the icebox and which you were probably saving for breakfast Forgive me they were delicious so sweet and so cold
Oh I am OCD ridden lololololol!!!!! I will run up and down the road outside my house to round the numbers off!
Koko is a beauty…
#yum on the almond butter!

haha yeah I used to worry about the tiny numbers and zig zag a bit. Now I dont even look at the watch. Thats pretty mean pace actually with a hill at the end too.

Hahaha. I actually work on conquering my perfectionism in NOT running straight numbers, but as sense dictates. I stopped the watch at 29:xx today because the beach ended … It does get easier π
You will get addicted to the almond butter … mix it with anything!

Ugh I can’t run anything even close to a partial distance. No point anything. And give Koko a chin scratch from me π

Nope, can’t stop on .99 … I have to turn the number over. Yes, it’s all mental, lol.
Koko is looking lovely as usual!
I’m having too much fun with your poems. Going back to my school-girl days, I would really like to guess that is written in anapest style? It doesn’t fit iambic or daclyic when I read it… so possibly anapest? (I know… I challenge myself in weird ways, lol) If you tell me none of the above, I may have to take a refresher course, π

Oh my goodness I have no idea! I remember those terms from school but would seriously have to Google their meaning. Might have to do that later just to see!

Such a relief to know it’s not just me running round pointlessly to get to a level mile (or similar) – but how infuriating is it when Strava changes it!
Gorgeous kitty pic.

Yeah, it seems pretty common! What drives me crazy is that I use two different devices on some of my runs (phone and watch) and the mileage can be different from one to the other!
